Art Reproduction and Giclée Prints
To achieve proper color rendition, the original artwork is required for scanning and color correction purposes. We scan at a high resolution and can scan up to 24” wide on our Heidelberg. We can scan larger prints, but the scanner quality may not be as accurate. Once artwork is scanned, we color correct as closely as possible (we cannot match 100% of all colors).
At Wolf Den Scanning, we take pride in our ability to reproduce the colors in your original piece. However, we have found that there are some colors that we cannot match for digital printing, such as fluorescent colors, and some pastels.
We then print your artwork on our HP 5500ps UV. This insures the finest quality of UV protection. You will receive an 8 ½” X 11” or an 11” X 17” print as a proof prior to final printing.
Once your print is approved, we will print to your size specifications. All paper and canvas used is archival quality and, according to the manufacturer, has at least a one hundred year life expectancy.
